The pair

Anchored to SPCX.

$ASTEROID's quote asset isn't a stablecoin. It's SPCX — Robinhood's stock token tracking SpaceX (Nasdaq: SPCX). One side of the pool is a plush. The other side is a rocket company.

$ASTEROID × RH$SPCX

SPCX is a Robinhood Stock Token issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Ltd — price exposure to SpaceX's listed Class A stock, not the shares themselves, and not available to US persons. $ASTEROID is a memecoin with no claim on either. Robinhood's terms ↗

Mission log

Real flight hours. Real ticker. Real plush.

Most dog coins have a mascot. This one has a mission history. Every line below is dated and sourced.

  1. Polaris Dawn lifts off. Asteroid floats free.

A Shiba Inu in a spacesuit rides Crew Dragon Resilience as the crew's zero-gravity indicator — the plush that tells four astronauts they've reached orbit. Designed by Liv Perrotto, honorary member of the Polaris Dawn team.

  2. "Ok."

Asked to make Asteroid the mascot of SpaceX, Elon Musk answers with one word. Reported by Fox News and Crypto Briefing.

  3. SpaceX rings the bell as SPCX.

The rocket company lists its Class A stock under the ticker SPCX. Later that month, the SpaceX Store lists the Asteroid plush.

  4. Robinhood Chain goes live. SPCX goes onchain.

Robinhood's L2 hits mainnet with 24/7 Stock Tokens — including SPCX, the token that tracks SpaceX's listed stock.

  5. $ASTEROID launches. Day one on LONG.

Minutes before LONG announces it's live on Robinhood Chain, ASTEROID is already anchored to SPCX with all 1,000,000,000 tokens in the pool. The Shiba got there first.

Verified onchain

Read the chain, not the bio.

Three things we checked against the contract, the pool and the launch transaction — with links so you can check them too.

01 · THE PAIR

Trades against SPCX, not a stablecoin.

$ASTEROID sits in a Uniswap v4 pool on Robinhood Chain with SPCX as the quote asset. The price you see is priced in Robinhood's SpaceX stock token.

02 · THE LAUNCH

All 1,000,000,000 into the pool. Nothing held back.

Launched 14 July 2026 through LONG. 100% of supply went to the pool at launch. No team allocation, no vesting, no anti-whale switch, no mint after launch.

03 · THE LOCK

Liquidity locked. Source verified.

The pool's liquidity is permanently locked inside the launch contract — it can't be pulled. The token is a verified clone of Doppler's ERC-20: no transfer tax, no blacklist.

Full disclosure: swaps pay the pool's fees (≈0.7% LP + ≈1% hook). Under ASTEROID's July 14 V1 launch configuration, LP fees stream to the launch creator and hook fees go to LONG's integrator address. ASTEROID currently has no vault, buyback, burn, or holder-reward mechanism enabled — and we'd rather tell you than have you find out.

Strap in.
